On March 23, 2026, the other HRP funded countermeasure study of the NASA TBI + RF Exposure experiment began. It was a chronic exposure study that measured the effects of RF energy and GSM cell phone radiation on rodents. This experiment was commissioned by HRP in order to assess its health effects on crew members at NASA facilities or in the International Space Station. The experiment has four major objectives: 1. to determine the dose-response relationship of RF exposure levels on flight crew; 2. to determine how RF exposure levels interact with other stressors on flight crew; 3. to determine how RF exposure levels affect the development of neurobehavioral deficits, including potential changes in brain and behavior; and 4. to determine the effects of RF radiation on the immune, cardiovascular and musculoskeletal systems and their potential interactions with other stressors. The experiment continues to collect data from rodents and rodents who will stay aboard the ISS. 827ec27edc
