Mine Vaganti: A Comedy About Family and Secrets
Mine Vaganti (Loose Cannons) is a 2010 Italian comedy film directed by Ferzan Ozpetek. The film tells the story of a wealthy family that owns a pasta factory in Lecce, southern Italy. The family is headed by the patriarch Vincenzo (Ennio Fantastichini), who has two sons: Tommaso (Riccardo Scamarcio) and Antonio (Alessandro Preziosi). Tommaso is a literature student in Rome, who is secretly gay and plans to come out to his family during a dinner. However, his plans are ruined when Antonio unexpectedly reveals his own homosexuality, causing a scandal and a heart attack for Vincenzo.
