She encourages him to pursue his acting career and helps him get a role in a TV serial. She also helps him win the love of Sweety (Sweety Khanna), the daughter of a producer. Meanwhile, Mahek and Sunny develop feelings for each other, but they don't express them.
Things get complicated when Dr. Verma returns and reveals that he has fixed Mahek's marriage with his friend's son Raj (Vimal), who lives in India. Mahek agrees to marry Raj out of respect for her uncle, but she is unhappy. Sunny is heartbroken and decides to go to India to stop the wedding.
